BlackBerry Shortcuts for QWERTY Device

Hi, it’s me again.

Now I would like to write about shortcuts for Blackberry device. The useful shortcuts is more to accommodate my practical needs, especially for qwerty keyboard (mine is 8310).

Before you start to try these shortcuts, please set your ‘dial from home screen’ off

How to:

push call / green button

push bb menu

select options

select general options

select dial from home screen

select no

Additional info, another way to find the complete shortcuts for BlackBerry device, just go to BlackBerry Help website from your device..

Managing Your Yahoogroups Account

Hi All,

When you subscribed to various groups or mailing list in yahoo (www.yahoogroups.com), sometimes you might need to have a break from the cluttered info inside the group you joined.

If you are in front of the computer, the mail management in yahoogroups should not be a problem. Just login to yahoogroups, do the settings, and voila, settings done.

The difficulties may occures when you are in the mobile state, meanwhile the yahoogroups settings need to be done rite away..

The following information below might helps you on this:

* Simply send a blank email, without subject, to the below adress.

* You have to send the blank email from your email account that is listed in the group.

* How to manage:

Suatu hari di tahun lalu, gw berkesempatan melihat datangnya 300 BlackBerry device various types di kantor gw..

Kalau gw emang dagang BlackBerry, pasti dah terlihat keuntungan di depan mata.. Secara waktu barang2 itu datang, di pasar Indo BlackBerry device baru lagi syuseeeh dicari..

BlackBerry sebagai Modem

Kadang-kadang ada saatnya kita menggunakan hh blackberry sebagai modem/tethering modem.

Caranya gampang koq tinggal ikutin aja step-step dibawah ini:

1. Nyalain DM
2. Colokin bb
3. Masuk ke modem properties di control panel.
4. Coba diagnostic dulu (biasanya namanya standard modem....), kedetect ga.
5. Kalo ok masukin extra command string: at+cgdcont=1,"IP","www.xlgprs.net" atau at+cgdcont=1,"IP","indosatgprs" atau at+cgdcont=1,"IP","telkomsel"
6. Create network connection, pilih modemnya, dial number: *99#
7. Isi username & password sesuai ops masing2. Isat: indosat, indosat. XL: xlgprs, proxl. Tsel: wap, wap123
8. Konek deh....

BB Freak Seri 2

Hmmmmm... Pagi ini gw terbangun subuh, sholat, mandi, terus mulai nyalain IM di handset gw. Menunggu siapa tau ada temen2 yg dah online dan nge buzz gw. I think I'm a little bit addicted to my handset and all the services.

Buktinya, pagi-2 gini gw dah bikin new post :)

Trus gw dah coba tarik email kantor, tarik attachment lindsay lohan, messenger an ama temen2 lama gw, etc. Sekarang tinggal nunggu BES gw aktip deeh.

Eniwei, pesen gw klo dah pake blackberry, jangan jadi tll autis, jgn buang waktu pd jam kerja, n just remember your real life.

Sekian dulu edisi BB Freak ini. Nx time gw isi lagi klo ada pengalaman baru...

BB Freak seri 1

Semuanya bermula dua hari lalu, saat itu gw menukar sebagian tabungan gw dengan sebuah device bernama "BlackBerry"(BB)lengkap dengan layanan internetnya.

Sebelumnya, gw memang sudah pake PDA. Tapi, setelah ngobrol dengan seorang teman (thanks pak) yang kebetulan sudah pernah pakai PDA dan BlackBerry, dari sisi function, BB lebih menjanjikan. Semua fungsi PDA ada disini, ditambah internet browser dan messenger.

Fiuuuuh, setelah layanan BB gw aktif, spontaneously gw menjadi 'freak'berry. Walau baru sehari make device dan layanan ini, dah mulai berasa addictionnya...
